About me

Having grown up in a sport orientated environment, fitness and general strength and health have always been a part of who I am. From a young age my sporting background included rugby, baseball, martial arts, athletics, and strength training.

I suffered an injury several years ago which reduced my ability to train to the levels that I was used to. This injury was the catalyst to creating an INCLUSIVE fitness facility where everyone could train and enjoy the benefits of exercise, no matter what your level of ability.

I have several years’ experience coaching juvenile athletes at Finn Valley Athletic Club, the highest ranked athletics club in Ireland.  I was honoured to represent Ireland at the 1997 Karate World Championships in London. I hold qualifications in Fitness Training, Gym Based Exercise, Personal Training, Chair Based Activity, Inclusive Fitness Training and Sports Coaching for Autism. I have also completed the UK GP Exercise Referral Program.

METAFIT – Metabolic Fitness

Metabolic fitness is directly related to how much our muscles are used. METAFIT uses an interval style approach, incorporating free weights, resistance machines, cardiovascular machines and your own body weight.
This approach will burn calories, tone and build lean muscle and increase your cardiovascular fitness. Science has proven these benefits will last for up to 24 hours after the session!

High Intensity Interval Training

The home of HIIT in Donegal!
A fast and efficient way of burning through calories and torching body fat. Short bursts of high intensity training, structured into a phase of complete effort, followed by a phase of recovery, or active recovery for those seeking to push themselves even further.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Providing private and semi-private training in a fully equipped and ultra-modern facility. Have you considered training as a family?
You’ll undergo an initial assessment which will include discussions regarding you current and past activities, your hobbies, preferences and goals.

OPEN SESSIONS

Your workout at your ability, with the reassurance that a qualified instructor is ALWAYS on hand to answer questions and assist if needed.
Limited to 3 users at any one time.
Only available when classes are not in progress.

CHAIR BASED / WHEELFIT

A range of suitable and appropriate exercises designed for wheelchair and those unsteady on their fet. Benefits include increasing fitness levels, improving your posture and your range of movement (Max 8 participants)

TEENFIT

Designed for secondary level students. A functional approach to fitness training, where you will use a variety of resistance and cardiovascular equipment, as well as your own bodyweight. Great for general fitness or to give you the edge in your chosen sport.
